Will this help hydrate my skin?

Life is all about staying hydrated, right?

Rehydrating your skin is one of the first things I do, right after I buff away all the dead skin cells.

Im packed with coconut oil and grape seed oil which keeps your skin hydrated and improve it’s moisture retention ability without clogging your pores.

The outcome: you’ll visibly see and feel the difference in your skin’s hydration levels straight away.

Does this help with cellulite?

Like your orange peel on your oranges and not your skin? While a number of factors contribute to the creation of cellulite, it can affect anyone. Cellulite is the mixture of enlarged fat cells, fluid and toxin storage.

My peppermint and coconut version is all about targeting skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and scarring, so I’m talking with the professionals at the moment on bringing you a cellulite-busting blend soon. That been said,  go to town on keeping your skin looking great, so helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite over time is only a natural cause of using me.

For best results, dry-brush the affected area first, and then scrub in circular motions at least 3 times a week, leaving on for 5 - 10 minutes.

Wondering what do to in the shower for 10 minutes? ow would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

How long do I leave the scrub on for?

Depends on what results you are looking for.

As a body polish, lumps and bumps remover and skin re-hydrator - leave me on between 1 - 5 minutes to let my nutrients, buffing ingredients and oils absorb into your skin. I suggest scrubbing once a week to keep you looking glowing and fresh.

For best results, leave me on for 5 - 10 minutes to target skin conditions and give my vitamins and minerals time to penetrate through your skin to work their magic. I suggest scrubbing 2 - 4 times a week ongoing.

Now would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Can I use this before/after applying my fake tan?

Good to see you’re been a sun-smart bitch and choosing to fake it rather than bake it. Your skin thanks you and so do I.

I’m perfect for using before your tan to remove any dry, flaky skin and restore moisture so your tan goes on streak-free and stays glam for longer.

Use me the day before you go and get a fake tan or make sure to remove any excess oil with a soap free cleanser if your tanning straight after.

When your tan is done? Use me to remove your old, worn out fake tan and remove any stubborn orange bits.

Do I apply this to wet or dry skin?

Add a little, add a lot, either way you should put some water on your skin.

Just enough to make it damp, but not wet. If you find I'm a bit too rough for your liking, just add more water to your skin and I’ll become a lot more gentle.

Want to use me for the rough skin on your feet? No need to add water here as I’ll be more effective at getting rid of this hardened skin when you use me straight out of the pack.

Can I use this on my tattoos?

Just got my name tattooed across your **? Wait until your skin has healed before using me on your ink. After a while, you can begin to gently pat me over the tattooed area.

Tats been there a while? no problems then :-)

How should I store my body scrub?

I come in a waterproof, resealable bag and can be stored in this without any problems. Don’t worry about the brown paper outside, the inside of the bag is made from waterproof materials to protect me.

Feel free to take me into the shower with you or over to the bath tub, my packaging will stay in tact, just try not to get water inside the bag and reseal the zip after. To help keep water out of the bag, try tipping me into your hand or using a scoop.

Afterwards, I’m happiest when stored in a nice cool, dry place between use.

How often should I use this?

Once you’ve tried me, you’ll notice a difference straight away and you’ll want to use me every day. But really, it depends on what you are using me for.

Once a week works great for keeping skin feeling soft and fresh and glowing.

For more intense results and to focus on skin conditions, use me up to 4 times a week, leaving me on for 5 - 10 minutes, and lets make this a long term relationship.

Now, just think of how bitchin’ your skin is going to be real soon…

How long will it take to see results?

Once you’ve tried me, you’ll notice the difference straight away. Your skin will immediately feel hydrated and softer than a baby’s bottom.

Targeting skin conditions? Results can be seen in as little as 2 sessions. For more intense conditions, use me up to 4 times a week, leaving me on for 5 - 10 minutes, and lets make this a long term relationship.

All this been said, the most amazing results happen when you use me in combination with healthy eating, exercise, loving yourself and taking time out to relax and recharge. Don’t worry though, I’ve got a plan to help you out with that too real soon.

Can I use this on my face, lips and neck?

My ingredients are perfect for exfoliating and targeting problem areas on the face, lips and neck.

Wet your face with water first and pour a small amount into the palm of your hand. Add a little extra water to make a paste.

Gently, and in small circular motions, rub me on your face, lips and neck, concentrating on any problem areas.

Leave on for 5 - 10 minutes so that all the ingredients can work their magic. Now would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Rinse me off and use a light, soap-free face wash to remove any excess oil. Avoid using any alcohol based products straight after too.

Sensitive bitches - Patch test first if you have sensitive skin!

Who should use this?

You.
You should use me.
You and only you.
You are my world, my reason for existing.
My purpose in life is to make your skin look and feel like a million dollars.
And maybe your partner, or your best friend.
Young, old, tanned, pale, male, female or anywhere in-between, oily or dry, I’m the one for you.

For my oily bitches, you may want to wipe excess residue off with a soap-free cleanser if you feel I leave you overly hydrated.

For my dry bitches, you might still need a little light moisturiser after, see how you feel.

Careful: I contain peppermint, so my sensitive-skinned bitches should patch test first and I’ll be a little too powerful for your baby b’s. We are working on a milder combination.

My skin is sensitive, will I have a reaction?

So your a sensitive bitch? I’ll love you just the same beautiful. I’ve made myself out of all natural ingredients so I can be as gentle yet effective as possible. My aim is to reduce and get rid of skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and irritation and leave you soft and hydrated. Some of you though may have allergies to natural ingredients so I’ve listed them all here:

  • Matcha: stimulate blood flow with caffeine and fight free radicals and infection
  • Sencha:  stimulate blood flow with caffeine and fight free radicals and infection
  • Coconut oil: anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. Sooth and hydrate sensitive skin
  • Grape Seed oil: fight free radicals. Sooth and hydrate sensitive skin. Detoxing
  • Sea Salt: reduce inflammation, draw out impurities and exfoliate
  • Sugar: moisturise and exfoliate. Contains natural AHA
  • Vitamin e: repairs skin tissue and fight free radicals
  • Peppermint oil: stimulate blood flow, soothe tired muscles and fight infection

Like with any new product, do a patch test first 24hrs before use to see if you have any reaction. Stop using me if you see a reaction.

My super-pale bitches may even get to see the effect of blood stimulation as it is brought closer to the surface of your skin and may appear blotchy for a few minutes while detoxing. If this lasts for a long time, I might be irritating you, so please stop using.

How long will a pack last?

Tricky question! That depends on how you use me.

On average, I’ll last around a month if you use me once or twice a week (thats about 4 - 8 uses).

If you’re using me to target problem areas or your face, you’ll only need a little bit of scrub so I will last a lot longer, (about 12 + uses).

For those who like to apply me heavily, addicted to seriously soft skin, or like cover yourself (or someone else) from top to toe, I’ll run out a lot sooner and may only last 1 or 2 uses.

Solution: buy me in multiples so I’m always there.

Does this help with scarring?

Spent your teenage years with severe acne? Fallen off the mountain-bike and taken the skin off your elbow? took skin off your legs while shaving? Saw your mum and dad naked?

While I can’t help with any emotional scarring, I can target new scars you've received from injuries, acne, or skin infections:

  • Matcha - reactivates skin cells and reduces the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
  • Sugar - repair skin texture, improve elasticity, condition and moisturise.
  • Sea salt - natural antiseptic, draws out impurities and stimulates new skin cells.
  • Vitamin e - helps boost natural production of new skin cells and collagen.
  • Coconut oil - hydrate and moisturise while target infections.
  • Grapeseed oil - tightens and tones skin, stimulates new skin cells and collagen.

Start early, as soon as the wound has healed and there is new skin (not on open wounds). Don't forget to be gentle as new skin is very delicate. Rub me gently over the area every day and for older scars, leave for 5 - 10 minutes so my nutrients can get under your skin.

Now would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Do you help with wrinkles?

I'm all for showing off your smile lines and letting everyone know you're a happy bitch. But if you’ve spent too much time in the sun, are a stress-head, or just haven't been looking after yourself properly, your skin may be showing a few more fine lines than you would like. Here’s how I can help reduce the appearance of fine lines:

Matcha - high level of antioxidants, prevents uv-induced oxidation of free radicals, detoxes, reduces the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
Sugar - repair skin texture, improve elasticity, condition and moisturise.
Sea salt - tightens and tones, draws out impurities and stimulates new skin cells.
Vitamin e - helps boost natural production of new skin cells and collagen.
Coconut oil - hydrate and moisturise while target infections.
Grapeseed oil - tightens and tones skin, stimulates new skin cells and collagen.

Let's not wait until you start seeing these unwanted wrinkles. Start early by scrubbing at least twice a week and leave me on for 10 minutes so my nutrients can begin to repair skin elasticity and promote collagen production.

What are you going to do for 10 minutes I hear you ask? Now would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Will this heal stretch marks?

Stretch marks happen for a number of reasons, but essentially they happen because your skin “stretched” too quickly tearing the collagen and elasticity of the middle layer of skin , causing scars.

Here’s how I can help:

  • Matcha - reactivates skin cells and reduces breakdown of collagen and elastin.
  • Sugar - repair skin texture, improve elasticity, stimulate new skin cells.
  • Vitamin e - helps boost natural production of new skin cells and collagen.
  • Coconut oil - improve skin elasticity and stimulate skin cell regeneration.

It’s much easier to treat stretch marks as soon as they appear. Start scrubbing at least twice a week and leave me on for 10 minutes so all my nutrients can be soaked into your skin. Now would be a good time to take that selfie and tell the world about how good I am - upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Sensitive bitches - don't forget to do a patch test first.

If your pregnant or breastfeeding, please get clearance from your doctor first as I do contain a little bit of caffeine and peppermint oil.

Will this stop skin ageing?

ALL my ingredients are targeted to keep skin looking on point. Here's how my unique combination of nourishing and skin repairing ingredients help to reduce fine lines and improve the texture, elasticity, vibrance of skin:

  • Matcha - high level of EGCG antioxidants, prevents uv-induced oxidation of free radicals, detoxes, reduces the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
  • Sugar - repair skin texture, improve elasticity, condition and moisturise.
  • Sea salt - tightens and tones, draws out impurities and stimulates new skin cells.
  • Vitamin e - helps boost natural production of new skin cells and collagen.
  • Coconut oil - hydrate and moisturise while target infections.
  • Grapeseed oil - tightens and tones skin, stimulates new skin cells and collagen.

Begin to keep your skin in top condition by scrubbing at least twice a week and leave me on for 10 minutes so my nutrients can get to work.

Will my skin detox/break out?

Did you know that a pimple can be weeks in the making? Breaking up with your breakouts is hard to do, sometimes. Acne is your bodies’ way of purging itself of toxins. Generally, this happens when there is already a buildup of bacteria, dirt and toxins in your pores which hasn't formed into a pimple yet. Your skin is detoxing.

My high matcha content means it is great for detoxing your skin of unwanted nasties, but those nasties have to come out somewhere, don’t they?

If break out’s keep happening, stop using me for a few days and see what happens.  Have a look at what other products you are putting on your skin as well as what you're eating and drinking too, babe. This may be making your breakouts worse. Want some help with this? Send me an email below or at letschat@getbitchinskin.com for some free advice.

Does this brighten skin?
p>Attention, attention! Its time to put the spotlight on you. Your skin makes up 90% of your selfie and of course, it's gotta be the star. Keep a radiant, bright look about you with me at your side, every second day to get that glowing complexion:
  • Matcha - high level of EGCG antioxidants, and chlorophyll help to brighten skin, detox, reduces the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
  • Sugar - full of natural AHA's to repair skin texture, improve elasticity, condition and moisturise
  • Sea salt - replenishes skin’s vitamins and minerals, buffs and polishes
  • Peppermint - revitalises dull skin increases blood flow brightens skin
  • Vitamin e - helps boost natural production of new skin cells and collagen.
  • Coconut oil - hydrate and moisturise while target infections.
  • Grapeseed oil - tightens and tones skin, stimulates new skin cells and collagen

Be prepared, babe, You'll notice a difference straight after, but it can take up to 3 weeks before you begin to hit 'complexion perfection'. While you know I'll love your skin, check out the rest of what your putting in and on your body too for maximum impact.

Will this clear up my acne?

Lets rewind a bit here and ask what is acne? Simply, your skin has pores (little holes where the hair comes out of) and you make oil (called sebum - its a good thing).

You get dead skin, makeup buildup, sweaty or dirty. I’ll just call it ‘stuff’. This stuff clumps together in your pore and creates a plug. Oil and toxins need to escape through your pores. It can’t do this when its got a stuff plug. So germs and bacteria feed on your stuff-plugged, oil and toxin full pores. This makes the pore inflamed, red and eventually explode. Boom.

So, back to me now. Can I help with acne:

  • Matcha - targets bacteria and inflammation, normalises sebum production, reactivate skin cells
  • Sea salt - remove dead skin, tones and draws out impurities.
  • Coconut oil - antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory to target infection
  • Grapeseed oil - antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, tightens inflamed pores, balances PH of skin
  • Peppermint oil - Fight infection and inflammation, tighten inflamed pores, balances PH of skin
  • Vitamin e - ensures proper functioning of sebum glands

I recommend using me 2 - 3 times a week ongoing.

Have oily skin? Don't forget to use a soap free cleanser to remove any excess residue after scrubbing.

Do you help with Rosacea?

Did I spot a stockpile of unopened blush powders in your makeup draw? Rosacea is a bitch. And not the good type like you are. She gives you a constant “flushed” look and possibly even spider veins across your cheeks and can even make your skin itchy. At a basic level, rosacea is inflammation to the blood vessels under the skin on your face and tends to happen more to my pale-skinned babes.

Rosacea and Acne are sometimes mixed up, and while there is no cure for rosacea, luckily I can help reduce the appearance and keep symptoms at bay.

  • Matcha - targets bacteria and inflammation, normalises sebum production, reactivate skin cells. Protects from UV damage.
  • Sea salt - remove dead skin, tones and draws out impurities.
  • Coconut oil - antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory to target infection
  • Grapeseed oil - antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, tightens inflamed pores, balances PH of skin
  • Peppermint oil - Fight infection and inflammation, tighten inflamed pores, balances PH of skin
  • Vitamin e - ensures proper functioning of sebum glands

Use me 2-3 times a week, ongoing to reduce the appearance of rosacea and keep flareups at bay. Leave on for 10 minutes to allow my nutrients to get deep into your skin and target that inflammation. Wondering what to do for 10 min? I love seeing your before and after photos, snap a selfie and upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin.

Helpful tip: Rosacea can be triggered by spicy foods or extreme temperatures, so to help keep flareups at bay, (a) don’t compete in a chilli-eating challenge and (b) move to a sunny, temperate beach.

Does it help with Psoriasis?

“She who worries on the inside, wears it on her outside”.

Psoriasis is most often triggered by stress, so stay calm and use bitchinskin. Flare-ups can also be triggered by sunburn, cuts and scrapes, bites, infections, too much alcohol and some medications.

Don’t worry, psoriasis is not contagious. The effect of using me is though. If your going through a flare-up, rub me over the affected area daily and leave on for 5-10 minutes. I recommend an ongoing relationship to help keep flare-ups at bay.

  • Matcha - high level of antioxidants, prevents uv-induced oxidation of free radicals, detoxes, reduces the breakdown of collagen and elastin.

This would be a great time to show me some before and after pics as well. Upload it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @bitchinskin with #gotbitchinskin
